⟢ euphya is a vivid plural universe with many, many residents who are full of euphoria; thanks to our own norms and values that many humans perceive as "cringe" or whatever!

⟢ this alternate universe is "negatively big"; residents you know live on a planet that is almost entirely different from the earth you humans know, and a precise link spot is hosted by a human (who can be controlled using this spot)!

⟢ from the host itself:

heya! i'm emi and i contain this vast universe! i am not part of euphya myself; instead i get controlled by the residents to link both sides for them to view the other world and interact with other humans! but i'm not soulless: i have a bio too! ^^

• Project 4 Plurals: a site made for finding all the tools you need as a plurality, while also offering volunteer support and other things!
• crazy coins showcase!: an infinite game where you swipe around to collect many things, buy upgrades, customise and many more! it's a resident's biggest project so far!
• OiaT Community: we've made plenty of contributions to this site; check it out if you've played the game!

all these projects are made voluntarily and we do everything out of our own passion :D

where are the docs and everything else?

we decided not to keep them public as they're distracting and instead are teaching residents what to answer to the common questions; so please ask them!

role tags also are no longer a thing; except for non-resident profiles (host, characters, simulations, etc)

affected domains: euphya.carrd.co, euphya.crd.co, euphyans.crd.co, `unizone.crd.co

we can keep these handles without any issues until at least february 2027; they'll simply redirect here and to our dm server

however after this date we might not continue our current carrd plan and may lose our handles; so beware of impersonation!! just know that we're planning to (almost) no longer be on carrd!

why the switch? because even though the pro plan promotes "no elements limit" there's technically a limit: the editor gets extremely laggy if you're editing a big site, and the final site that can take a second to load takes minutes to just load the editor... and there will be more and more residents publishing their profiles; so we're moving to a new organisation on scratchfront (also because we love scratch!)

how we build profiles now is rather interesting (for those who want a style in their page):

1. the resident makes a draft of their own profile on... carrd (yes) until they're satisfied;
2. they request to "profile stylers" to write and try to reproduce the profile style from carrd to scratchfront;
3. profile is done! it may not be 100% accurate since we're still learning (or having small issues) but they end up agreeing with something!

✋ norms / values / boundaries !

our norms and values on euphya are very different from yours on earth!
here are a few examples:

• we can be silly and childish while keeping seriousness at its best when needed!
• we don't use labels: such as genders, flags, age groups, orientations, etc. we refer to unique personalities!
• we don't rely on beauty: in fact physical beauty might do the opposite effect on us
• relationship types aren't a thing: we all do what's best according to each other - with consent - instead of behaving according to hierarchies (such as whether one is a friend, a partner, or a family member)
• we write on different ways: such as using some different words and grammatical rules (in both english and french); for example you'll notice that we don't use caps or dots between sentences (and most names)
• politeness is implicit: we don't use everything like "hello", "please", "thank you" in an usual way - they rather directly show their gratitude based on the current context!
• euphya is not earth! many of us are similar to humans but aren't exactly: we're all different life forms (you may understand them as "species")

as such: we may have many boundaries when it comes to interacting with humans:

• we love friends and are grateful to have them! but we aren't interested in any love relationships or "romance" due to the unhealthy norms they imply
• the way residents interact on earth isn't the same as on euphya: because they have to take the hosting body to interact (which is sensitive to many topics while the resident itself may not be); what this means is that any topics have twice the chance of triggering us: either emi's body or the resident itself (when that happens you'll usually be asked to change the topic)
• most common topics to avoid at all costs: heavy tw! - click to show this content
• jokes have their own boundaries as well: some are unhealthy in nature and so are just not funny; so avoid these jokes
• please don't talk to any of us in a superior way (aka. "professionally"): this is useless and hierarchy-based communication only gets our trust away from you
• we are not disclosing: any private individuals, emi's exact age (range may be fine), anything related to physical appearance, nor origins without telling the full backstory; if you ask multiple times you might break our trust
• we ask that people assume the best of each other (or in the worst cases don't assume anything at all) before risking conflicts that can be avoided!
• we don't have a "dni": cases are too contextual and we don't want to discriminate (this is basically impossible to be perfect about this)

most if not all residents are okay with pings and tone tags!

please don't hesitate to ask questions if you're confused about the way we behave! as anything is very often on purpose (as you've seen we don't agree with many society concepts)
